TeenLife Set to Host Virtual Summer Opportunities Fair on February 25th
TeenLife, the leading site for finding teen-centered enrichment, is hosting a TeenLife LIVE Virtual Summer Opportunities Fair on Thursday, February 25th from 6-8:45pm EST. The experience is similar to an in-person fair where students, parents, and educators can hear short presentations from 18 summer program representatives in a short period of time. To register and see the list of exhibitors click here.
To make it easier for you, the presentations will be recorded and sent to everyone who registers. TeenLife recently published the 2021 Guide to Summer Programs featuring 60+ in-person and online opportunities – another great resource for planning your summer.
NACAC Virtual College Fairs
The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) will be hosting several virtual college fairs this spring (virtualcollegefairs.org). The virtual fairs offer a dynamic, new, digital meeting space that connects counselors, students, and their families with colleges and universities around the world.
For students especially, the virtual fairs are a welcome beacon during an uncertain time and a reminder that making college plans is still important. NACAC Virtual College Fairs inspire students to explore their options and to get started on their college dreams.
Quick Start Video and Guide
This short video and this quick start guide provide an overview of how students can make the most of their fair experience. Students are encouraged to sign up at virtualcollegefairs.org and look around several days before each fair date.
Pro Tip: Students can click the “Remind Me” button when they see a Zoom session that will be offered by a college that interests them. The reminder will get added to their “My Schedule” tab and they’ll receive a text when the session is about to start.
In addition to colleges’ Zoom sessions, NACAC also offers Zoom workshops for students and families. These are general, 30-minute information sessions. Enter “nacac” in the “search by college” field to find workshops scheduled for each fair.
